"TOO MUCH TECH?" Bridge Community e-Waste Drive
Have you collected "Too Much Tech" over the years? Recycle your unwanted electronics properly at our upcoming e-Waste Drive!
WHAT: This event will be the fourth e-waste drive to benefit First Lutheran Church that Bridge has sponsored since 2009 and the second e-waste drive that the company has organized and sponsored this year. This fall, Bridge will also have a paper shredder at the drive for sensitive documents you need recycled.
Bring all old or unwanted electronics that you wish to dispose of to the Texas Roadhouse parking lot in Warwick, RI between 9 am and 12 noon on September 15. Office Recycling Solutions will be providing trucks to receive your e-waste and will be responsible for properly recycling these items. This simple action will keep electronics out of the regular trash, cut our community's dumping costs and raise money for a good cause! A minimum $1 fee per small item and $5-$10 fee is highly encouraged for larger items. The shredder service will be available with a suggested donation of $0.50 a pound. Bridge will cover the fees for those unable to make a donation.
What can you drop off?
CPUs/computers, servers, keyboards, spare computer parts, monitors, laptops, network equipment, mice, laser printers, routers, radios, scanners, fax machines, UPSs, cables, cords and wires, aluminum, copper, cell phones, inks/laser cartridges, TVs, MP3 players, home audio equipment (receivers/speakers), car audio equipment (decks/speakers), DVD players, VCRs, cameras and telephones are all accepted.
