Bridge Technical Talent Donates Hundreds of Pounds of Food

North Kingston, RI (June 21, 2016) -- Recently voted Best Place to Work by Providence Business News for the fourth year in a row, the employees at Bridge Technical Talent continued their reputation of giving back to their community by donating 263 pounds of food to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. The summer food drive was launched to address a critical need for food assistance throughout the state. According to the Rhode Island Food Bank, food donations typically drop during the summer months despite the need remaining high, particularly for families of children who normally receive free or reduced-priced lunches at school.

“Our community is incredibly important to each and every one of us at Bridge,” said Partner at Bridge Technical Talent, James Wright. “Giving back to the state that we call home is an integral part of our company and our team is always looking for ways to get involved.” This is the fourth consecutive year that Bridge has donated to the food drive, bringing their total donation to well over 1,000 pounds of food. Karen Fuller, ‎Director of Philanthropy at the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, shared her appreciation for Bridge’s donation; “Thank you for the generous food donation.  We’re grateful to you and your employees for your efforts on behalf of hungry Rhode Islanders.”
