Desktop Support

Location: Providence, Rhode Island

Position Overview                         

The Desktop Support will deal with any issues with technology. With their knowledge of technology, they will support the clients with any problems and needs they have. This is a hands on role where installation and replacement will be involved.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Handle any client issues
  • Come up with new innovate ways to make equipment better
  • Organize warranty and replacement of equipment
  • Help users understand the hardware, software, etc. that they are using
  • Track all technology equipment
  • Ensure you are working with Bank policies and procedures

To be successful you will need

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Experience in technical support
  • Knowledge of present network protocols, and computer security
  • Certification in A+ and Network+
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and spreadsheets

Ideal candidate will also have

  • Experience in Information Technology
  • Background with VMWare, or other focused certification
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Professional/Engineer (MCSP/MCSE)
