In this session, Evans Travis, Sr. Program Manager at SAS Institute and an experienced project recovery specialist will talk about a business process he has developed over a period of 25 years that he uses to manage and recover these complex and stressful situations. His process has been documented for use at SAS internally and he developed a workshop based on the process he teaches at SAS. Using an interactive presentation style, Evans will take us through the nature of project failure, the environment that leads to failure, and how his unique business process works. He will discuss the essential steps that must be taken to recover a project and what kind of mindset and demeanor you need to do recovery work successfully. He will incorporate a couple of group discussions into the presentation that will reinforce the concepts he discusses. Please join us for this lively and informative presentation!
